About us
In the beginning, we were three lifelong friends united by a shared passion for film. Each of us took our first steps in the industry in a different corner of cinema and television: Gabriel at Légende Films alongside producer Alain Goldman, William on the French television show C à vous, and Alexandre at Canal+ Créations Digitales.
Then we sold our first documentary to France Télévisions, and WAG was born.
Ten years later, WAG has grown into an independent production company developing and producing documentaries, fiction and original formats for cinema, television and streaming platforms, often through international co-productions.
Over the years, we have co-produced films with partners in Germany, the UK, Mali and the United States. We have also developed a particularly strong connection with Brazil, now home to the largest number of our international collaborations, and a relationship we intend to deepen in the years ahead.
We grew up in the 1990s, at the crossroads of cinema, television and the rise of the internet. As a result, we move naturally between screens and formats. Whether a film is made for television, cinema, a streaming platform or YouTube, we approach it with the same care, creative ambition and attention to craft.
WAG remains, above all, a human-scale company: curious, international and driven by long-term creative relationships with writers, directors and production partners.
