“Hibakusha ” tells the story of Toshiji Nagao, a Japanese immigrant in Brazil in 1984 who keeps secret the fact that he is a Hibakusha (atomic bomb survivor). After discovering that he may have passed on a radiation-related illness to his son, he is forced to confront war traumas. In this process, he meets Regina, also a hibakusha, who will encourage him to open himself up to life and reconcile with the past.
